Pause. Breathe. Feel. Live.
Mindfulness
is the practice of being present in the moment, aware of where we are and what we are doing - rather than dwelling in the past or projecting into the future.
This moment is the only place in time where we can act and make a difference.
Mindfulness increases the capacity to calm our minds. As we learn to get in touch with our body sensations and feelings, we strengthen our capacity o be with whatever there is in the moment, be it good or bad. Many people experience this a very liberating. We are enabled to step out of automatic reaction patterns and can respond to situations in healthier ways. Mindfulness enhances openness, emotional resilience, clarity of thought and personal well-being. Feelings of stress, anxiety, tension, powerlessness, fatigue and sometimes even somatic illness are reduced.
Mindfulness can be practiced by everybody and is applicable in every sphere of life.
